While working for some of the UK’s most prominent charities (Tate), Kami was successful in securing high-level individual donations as well as grants from the government towards culture- and education-oriented causes (art commissions, workshops, publications, exhibitions, acquisitions, residencies and more). Kami also advises on fundraising strategy in a for-profit environment.
Alongside, Kami has collaborated with established international foundations – New Carlsberg Foundation, Marandi Foundation, Denise Coates Foundation, MB Bacon Foundation, Korea Foundation and more – on strategically expanding their portfolios of philanthropic initiatives. Kami is a co-Chair of Trustees of the Art Institutions of the 21st Century Foundation (AI21C), which supports research and education.
