Approach

With over 15 years of experience at Sotheby’s, Tate, the Royal Academy of Arts, and the LSE, Kami spans the full arts ecosystem. Combining cultural depth, entrepreneurship, and organisational agility, she leads strategic business development alongside bespoke research and art market projects. Diplomatic and personable by nature, she builds deep relationships that accelerate growth — aligning investors and founders, connecting collectors with artists and institutions, and businesses with clients.

When it comes to art, Kami’s passion lies in discovering connections across centuries, movements, geographies, and mediums to craft a unique, personal taste. She studied Old Masters with a focus on artistic styles and centres in 15th-century Europe that integrated diverse aesthetics, such as the Spanish Kingdoms, Flanders, Venice, and more. Kami’s research now forms part of the archives of the Prado Museum and the Royal State Collection in Poland. At Sotheby’s, she further developed her expertise in Modern and Contemporary art, working with multigenerational families whose truly eclectic collections have since shaped her distinctive advisory approach. Her tenure at Tate offered a deep dive into the contemporary art world, now a core pillar of today’s art market and any collecting strategy. While at the Royal Academy of Arts, Kami had the opportunity to work directly with renowned living artists and their studios. With a foundation in art history, philosophy, and linguistics, Kami remains, at heart, an academic who believes in the enduring value of connoisseurship.
