Bio

With over 15 years in the art market and public arts sector, Kami works directly with collectors, artist studios, family offices, corporates and institutions, providing bespoke strategies on philanthropy, collecting and development.

Kami is a Co-Chair of Trustees of the AI21C Foundation (registered charity number: 1173044), an advisor to the Line and Polish Cultural Institute, member of the Development Council at Turner Contemporary and of the Board of Directors at the Art.Network, a fintech-blockchain infrastructure for the art world.

Kami holds two MAs (Art History & Philosophy: Linguistics) and has lectured at King’s College London, Christie’s Education and Sotheby’s Insitute. Since 2022, Kami has been pursuing the Executive MSc in Social Business & Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on philanthropy, new business models, systems thinking and social impact.

Formerly, at Sotheby’s and Christie’s (Europe, the UK and the USA), Kami handled all aspects of art collecting for (U)HNWIs, and managed acquisitions of international contemporary art for the national collection at Tate (London). Working closely with boards across Tate and the Royal Academy of Arts (London), Kami led high-level fundraising, securing 7-figure grants and donations, and built an international network of patrons. Navigating complex, cross-sector negotiations, Kami pioneered new governance structures, communication strategies, funding mechanisms and international partnerships.
