Kami’s career has positioned her to negotiate with diverse stakeholders across sectors to advance interdisciplinary projects that often transcend traditional infrastructure.
She orchestrated a groundbreaking partnership between contemporary art museums in London (Tate) and Sydney (MCA) and the Qantas Airlines Foundation, delivering joint research, education, and acquisition programmes. She also secured inaugural sponsorships from Endeavor for the renewal of the Frieze Tate Fund and from The Island for Offscreen, Paris and La Biennale di Venezia. The Frieze Tate Fund, supported by Endeavor, operates an innovative funding model for museums to acquire contemporary art directly from an art fair. The 60th International Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia featured an installation by WangShui, made possible by The Island.
Currently, Kami spearheads negotiations with leading contemporary art institutions, e.g. Tate, Haus Der Kunst, to establish pioneering, long-term collective support from the tech and business communities.
